im planning cosplaying mio as my first cosplay ever! I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me what the measurements were for the skirt pattern, since i'm such a beginner sewist i don't know where to start haha!

I never realised the braid was all hair, I always assumed it was some kind of ribbon woven in! Either way it looks way more consistent having the same texture

Out of interest, how are the stretch leggings better than store bought ones? Is it for a better fit to make the costume look more like in the game? Looks good though :)

Yeah! In evveryday life I go for less contoured looks (albeit often with fun eyeshadow colors and sparkles) because that's just what I like, but if I'm say, cosplaying as Ruby I'll contour out my crease, my nose, and jawline a lot more and go for thicker, darker eyeliner (albeit in more of a rounded, puppy eye shape to match her eyeshape and personality better) and go for a slightly less blushy look than my everyday makeup because I know that with wigs and colored brows I'd be washed out otherwise and it'll read better on camera given the wig.

Also happens to pageant people. My natural makeup is only a step down from full glam.

I prefer lower visual weight makeup in general but I’m bad at it 😢 so I resort to higher visual weight makeup just because flaws are less visible.
